Arboricultural Surveys and Arboricultural Constraints Report

When applying for planning near existing trees, a qualified arboricultural consultant should conduct a BS5837 tree survey. This provides details the existing tree stock and sets out the constraints and opportunities posed by the trees which can be used to inform the development design, ensuring your project runs smoothly while protecting valuable trees. The information is presented within a Tree Constraints Plan which can be passed onto the design team to incorporate into their emerging layout.

After completing a tree survey, we produce detailed reports for the local planning authority, including Arboricultural Impact Assessments (AIA) and Arboricultural Method Statements. We also offer ongoing tree management during and after construction to ensure long-term protection of the trees.

All our plans are issued in AutoCAD and PDF formats and can be used with other architectural/design drawings.
